Where Then and Now Meet
What flower is this
Emerging so blue and fresh
From among my weeds?
In only three days
White daffodils are blooming;
New dandelions.
Brightening on the ground
Some forsy6thia petals:
Just the beginning.
Shadows on the lawn,
Lying like dark guardians
Pressed against the earth.
Why this nostalgia
Every time I take my walk
Where Then and Now meet?
Sharp smell of cut wood;
Silent insect flutters by;
New leaves bob gently.
Sitting silently,
Merging with woods around them,
Young couple communes.
Waving their dark red
Young ivy leaves in the woods.
Are they poisonous?
