Welcoming the May

 Sun peeks slowly
Through the mist covered landscape
And then breaks lightly.

 Fosythia lasts
Longer than before--
A mountain of gold.

Dancing round the pole
Two neighboring young fairies
Welcoming the May.

Rooster crows lightly;
Woodpecker taps its drum beat;
Happy stream burbles.

On this peaceful day--
Cirrus and Nimbus above;
Soft shadows below.

Around the old tree
Vibrant new green plants embrace,
Showing their respect..

Softness descending,
As the clouds mute the sunshine.
The woods are singing.

Rustling in the woods--
Is it a bear, a raccoon
Or a falling branch?
