Sunlight is Heavy

Sunlight is heavy,
Weighing down on the trees;
Dropping to the ground.

They say a blizzard--
Up to ten inches of snow.
Now, there's just sunlight.

I rarely look up,
And never see the tall tree
Full of winter leaves.

These branches grow up
Defying gravity's law
Drinking in the sun.

A forlorn mailbox
Shows its white face to the street--
Nobody is home.

The snow blinded sign
Reveals nothing but "n" "g".
(A ring or a song?)

Above the tree tops
White streaks billow, intersect
While they're dissolving.

Sunny secret woods
Lies covered in snow beyond
"No Trespassing" sign.
