Shadows Don't Answer

 Light twinkles in leaves;
Sunshine glares on the table.
(Windows are dirty).

Purifier hums;
Cleaning the air from my house
(And reminding me).

 My green dappled lawn
Plays lightly with the sunshine
On this bright crisp morn.

Bouncing so lightly
Bug lands on the red clover;
It seems so heavy.

A soft murmuring
Floats from the dark road shadows:
Two  talkers jogging
.

Lone Black Eyed Susan
Sits at the edge of driveway;
Needs no companions.

On top of the hill
Shadows lie with sunlight.
(There are also bugs.)

Above the shadows
Crow calls again and again.
Shadows don't answer.
