Shaking breeze trembles
The white clusters on the bush;
Gray cloud mutes the sun.

Blue green evergreen
Just as it was last winter--
This mid May morn.

New blossoms each day
As buds keep bursting open;
Spring still awakens.

A rippling mirror
Floats darkly below my feet;
Quiet stream whispers.

In soft gray silence
Dandelions in the breeze
Shake gently yellow.

Growing from the rock
A delicate white flower;
Which one is stronger?

White and yellow mix
Together on the same branch;
Coexistent blooms.

Groaning up the hill
Two trucks wash then scrub the road.
(Is this Switzerland?)
